Find your people. Build something significant.
We’re in the process of assembling a team to officially launch Sunday services in February 2025.
In the lead up, we meet most Sundays at 4pm for our Team Nights, which often involve worship, prayer, and training.
You’re invited! There’s a place for you here.
WHERE ARE WE MEETING?
We currently meet in the Portola Garden District of San Francisco:
2555 San Bruno Avenue
San Francisco, CA 94134
WHAT TIME ARE THE GATHERINGS?
We meet most Sundays at 4pm. Check our calendar for our current list of events.
HOW LONG ARE THE MEETINGS?
Our gatherings usually last 90 minutes. Often, people linger around for a bit to catch up. There are a few restaurants nearby, and it’s not uncommon for several of us to grab dinner after the gathering.
WHERE DO I PARK?
There’s street parking in the neighborhood and a parking lot nearby on Felton street. Currently, the parking lot at MLK Middle School (accessed near the intersection of Bacon & Brussels) is open on the weekends and usually has spots available on Sunday. For public transportation, Muni bus service is available to the area.
AM I WELCOME DURING THIS LAUNCH TEAM PHASE?
Of course! These are meant for anyone and everyone. Even if you wouldn’t consider yourself a follower of Jesus, you are welcome to come, observe and participate in as much as you’d like. The more, the merrier!
WHAT ARE TEAM NIGHTS LIKE?
Being in the start-up phase, we keep things pretty low key. Most weeks involve worship and prayer and at least a small teaching from the Bible.
Some weeks we focus more on prayer, some on teaching (around our vision and values) and some on practical training in the build-up to our launch.
All are welcome and you are free to participate in as much or as little as you like.
DO I HAVE TO [SING / TALK / RECEIVE COMMUNION / PRAY / ETC.]?
Absolutely not! You are our guest and we want you to feel comfortable. There’s freedom to participate in as much or as little of the service as you’d like. If you want to just sit and observe, that’s fine by us. In particular, receiving communion is meant for those who consider themselves followers of Jesus.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Don’t feel like you have to dress up. Most people wear casual attire, but you’re welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable. Check out our Instagram page to get a feel for what most people wear on Sundays.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
Sanctuary Kids is a safe, clean and fun space for kids age 0-5th grade to discover God’s great love in Jesus. We create an age-appropriate environment where your kids can make friends, learn the Bible, and cultivate a heart for God.
We offer Sanctuary Kids on most weeks, though sometimes we’re all together for family worship.
Often the kids start out in the main auditorium for sung worship with the adults. After the music, the kids are dismissed and welcomed into our kids room.
Save some time on your first visit and make checking kids into class easy by pre-registering here.
