The Joy Of Generosity

Generosity is an overflow of joy and divine grace, rather than a forced obligation or a heavy burden. True giving, as illustrated by the early Macedonian believers, can thrive even in difficult times when it is fueled by a willing heart that views sharing as a privilege. This radical mindset is anchored in the ultimate model of Jesus Christ, who gave up everything out of love so that others could be enriched. Ultimately, giving flows from a ready and eager heart, focusing on mutual support and helping to meet the needs of others based on what a person realistically has to offer. Speaker: Tim Harms Main Text: 2 Corinthians 8:1-15
