Community Groups

Find your people.

Life in San Francisco is better around a table. Community Groups are small gatherings across the city where friendship, faith, and (usually) food happen together.

Groups relaunch the week after Labor Day — sign up now to be matched before kickoff.

Why groups

Three good reasons to join.

Belong

Sundays are a great start, but 90 minutes in rows can’t do what a few hours around a table can. Be known, not just noticed.

Grow

Wrestle honestly with Scripture and life in a city that asks hard questions. No polish required.

Practice

Learn the way of Jesus together — prayer, hospitality, and loving the neighborhood you actually live in.

How it works

Three steps. That's it.

1

Tell us about you — the signup below takes 60 seconds.

2

Get matched — we’ll connect you with a group near you within a week.

3

Show up — that’s it. Food’s usually involved.

Life Together

Around tables all over the city.

I came to this country alone, but now I’ve found a family. I’m genuinely finding sanctuary in Christ.

Questions

A few things people ask.

Do I need to be a Christian to join?

Not at all. Groups are for the curious and the convinced alike.

What about kids?

Our fall groups are men’s and women’s groups, so we don’t offer childcare. Many parents alternate group nights with their spouse — and kids are always part of Sundays at Sanctuary.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Someone might ask you to bring a salad.

When do groups meet?

Most meet weekly or every other week, in the evenings. Rhythms vary by group.

New to Sanctuary? Join us Sundays at 10:30am — 195 De Haro St.
