Why Bother with the Church?
In this message from our New Humans series through Ephesians, we walk through Ephesians 3: the revealed mystery of Christ, the church as God’s manifold wisdom, and Paul’s powerful prayer that we would know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge. We recap chapters 1–2 (adoption, grace, unity), then read Ephesians 3 and reflect on how God forms a new humanity in Christ—Jew and Gentile together—displaying his wisdom to rulers and authorities. We consider living as a “signpost of the age to come,” and we close by praying Paul’s prayer (Eph 3:14–21) over our community. Key Scriptures: Ephesians 1–3; Ephesians 3:6, 10, 14–21 Series: New Humans (Ephesians) | Sanctuary Church
